A man claims Miami Dolphins' Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey and his twin brother Pittsburgh Steelers' center Maurkice assaulted him at a Miami Beach nightclub.

The alleged victim, Ricky Vasquez, posted tweets and Instagram videos on his personal account accusing the Pouncey twins of attacking him and a female friend at Cameo Nightclub at 4:20 am Saturday.

No police report is available, but Miami Beach Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez did confirm that police were called to club.  He did not say whether the Pouncey twins were suspects.

Sports radio host Andy Slater from WIOD's sister station 940 WINZ spoke to several people who had conflicting accounts of the events.

Pouncey has been a controversial figure since joining the Dolphins out of the University of Florida four years ago. He was one of three players on the team who was implicated in the Ted Wells report for his involvement in "Bullygate".  In 2013, he was also called on for grand jury testimony in the murder trial of his friend and former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Pouncey is currently rehabbing his surgically repaired hip and is expected to miss at least the first month of the regular season.
