The National Hurricane Center in Miami released Tuesday morning Advisory Number 4 in regards to Tropical Depression 2 of the 2014 Atlantic hurricane season.

The depression is moving quickly westward, and is located at 12.6n, 48.0w, about 910 miles, 1465 kilometers east of the Lesser Antilles.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 miles per hour, 55, kilometers per hour, with higher gusts.

Little change in strength is expected through tomorrow, but the depression is expected to weaken to a remnant low Wednesday night and degenerate into a trough of low pressure on Thursday.

The estimated minimum central pressure as of the 11:00 a.m. advisory was 1012 mb, 29.89 inches.

There are currently no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
