Baltimore Orioles OF Adam Jones made headlines on Tuesday after he went off on two fans who ran onto the field at Yankee Stadium. He joined Jay Mohr Sports on Wednesday to expand on that and told us how MLB can try to prevent it from happening altogether.

Jones: "I like the fact MLB has stepped in and added extra security at every ballpark to handle these issues but, we've got to talk to the baseball fans. You love us (the players), you love your team, you cuss out the other players but, let's not be idiots. Stay the hell off the field or pay the price. Increase the fines!!! I've heard, well maybe they could ban them a year or get fined a $1,000 or get charged with trespassing. Ok, $1,000 is a lot of money but, let's start increasing that to $10,000 or $20,000. I guarantee you if you start messing with people's money, they'll start to listen. If they say you're suspended, you can't come back for a year, these people will grow a mustache and come out (laughing)...but, they won't know who the hell they are. If they want to come on the field, make the penalties harsh because if they get fined (that much money) they'll say, 'Where am I going to get $25,000 at?"
