The Dodgers' Andre Ethier says he is retiring from baseball. The two-time All-Star has played ball with the Dodgers the past 12-years. In a statement yesterday, Ethier said ''There's nothing like stepping out on the field at Dodger Stadium and looking up and seeing the faithful Dodger Blue supporting you." During his career as outfielder and pinch hitter with the Dodgers, Ethier carved out a .285 batting average with 162 home runs. The Dodgers acquired Ethier from Oakland in a December 2005. Ethier became a free agent last fall and remained unsigned.
