Forbes Released The 2019 Baseball Team Values And Guess Where Marlins Rank

Forbes' franchise values list released Wednesday estimates Miami as the least valuable team at $1 billion, just behind Tampa Bay ($1.01 billion).

They also estimate the NY Yankees are baseball's most valuable franchise with a value of $4.6 billion, which is up 15 percent from last year's figure.

The LA Dodgers came in second with $3.3 billion, followed by World Series reigning champs the Boston Red Sox at $3.2 billion, the Chicago Cubs ($3.1 billion), San Francisco Giants ($3 billion) and the New York Mets ($2.3 billion).

Marlins are currently in last place in the NL East division, although it is still the beginning of the season.
