The governor is willing to work with local school districts when it comes to reopening classrooms.
Governor Ron DeSantis said yesterday he understands the unique situation schools are in, but he wants districts to be flexible in giving parents a choice on returning their kids to school.
He says special needs students are most in need of in-person learning.
He tells CBS 4 News he hopes districts will offer them that choice as soon as possible.
