Florida Rescue Missions To Escape Haiti

More rescue flights from Florida are set to take off today to Haiti. Tampa Bay's Project Dynamo, a Veteran run search and rescue non-profit is operating charters to get people out. In Israel, they were able to rescue 270 Americans. Now, they have set up in the neighboring Dominican Republic to help in Haiti.

Two rescue flights yesterday, however, ended up being canceled.

They're attempting taking off this morning. Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie says they won't stop until they rescue all 259 Floridians stranded in Haiti.

First rescue flight leaves at 8:05am, the second at 10am from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
