Trusting the Process

This isn't the Same Marlins

The Marlins finished the 2018 season with a 63-98, Last in their Division. They traded the 2017 NL MVP as well as the potential 2018 NL MVP. They went from a powerful line-up to a team struggling to score runs. The Fish also sported the National League's worst run differential by 70 runs. The injuries of veterans, on top of the more finesse line-up didn't help the Fish either.

It wasn't all bad though, The Fish also had a lot of highlights. With players like J.T. Realmuto, Brian Anderson, Jose Urena (had the best September of all NL pitchers), Sandy Alcantara, Austin Dean, and Louis Brinson, the Marlins also to look forward to in the 2019 season.

On Tuesday the Marlins Announced the signings of Victor Victor Mesa and brother Victor Jr Mesa to the club. Both of the brothers are very coveted Free agents in the International Markets. The brothers of Cuban Heritage are hoping to be making an impact very soon for the club. Victor Victor batted .354 and a .399 OBP in the 2016-2017 in the Serie Nacional league in Cuba. He also stole 40 bases in just 70 games.  As an American from Cuban Decent, I'm very excited to have him play for the Fish, as the Old Ownership Group, i felt, stayed away from the International market at times.

Those Names mentioned above are just the Names that came up to the League last year, and most of them made an impact on the Major League level. That just year 1 and with moves like this, it makes it just a little easier to Trust the Process with Jeter and the New Ownership Group at the helm.
