Busch Gardens And SeaWorld Opening New Coasters In 2020

This just in! THREE NEW ROLLERCOASTERS are set to open in 2020 at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks!

According to the parks, this is the first time in 4 years that both Busch Gardens and SeaWorld will open rollercoasters in both parks in the same year.

Busch Gardens' Water Park, Adventure Island, will open a new raft ride called Solar Vortex! It will be a thrilling family raft slide combining high-banking rotations and rapid descents. Sending sliders on a swirling journey through two open tailspin features. Riders will reach speeds of 20 mph on the slide!

Meanwhile at Busch Gardens, there new coaster, Iron Gwazi, will be North America's tallest, fasted and steepest hybrid coaster. At a mere 206 ft tall, the rollercoaster features a 91 degree drop and reaches speeds of 76 mph! The ride also includes three inversions,12 airtime hills, and races along more than 4,075 feet of purple steel track!

Last but not least and a little farther east, SeaWorld will be opening their first-ever launch coaster Ice Breaker. The roller coaster will have four launches, both forwards and backward, culminating in a reverse launch into the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida — a 93-foot tall spike with a 100-degree angle!!

Can't wait to ride? SeaWorld officials say all 3 of the new rides will open in Spring of 2020!
