Disney World Coronavirus Refund And Cancellation Policy

Walt Disney World announced they would be closing March 16th through the end of the month as a precaution due to the coronavirus outbreak. Here is what you need to know if you had an upcoming trip planned.

As of right now, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs remain open, but this could change at any moment.

TICKETS:

If you have tickets to the parks:

Unexpired, multi day theme park tickets or date specific one-day tickets will automatically be extended for use through December 15, 2020.

Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets will be extended through July 31, 2020.

Disney After Hours, Disney Villains After Hours, and Disney Early Morning Magic tickets purchased during the closure will automatically be refunded.

ANNUAL PASSES

Annual passes will be extended for all passholders by the number of days the parks are closed.

RESORTS

Guests who booked stays between March 16 - March 31 can modify or cancel their room reservation as long as they do so before their check in date. If no action is taken, Disney will automatically refund the booking to the original form of payment within 7-days of the original check in date.

If you did not book through Disney directly, you will need to contact your travel service.

Disney will also waive all change and cancellation fees through June 30th if you need to change your vacation plans even after the parks reopen.

DINING AND OTHER EXPERIENCES

All pre-paid experiences will be automatically refunded if scheduled during the closure. Reservations scheduled, but not paid for yet will NOT BE charged the cancellation or no-show fee.

FASTPASS+

All FastPass+ reservations booked during the closure will automatically be canceled.
