Gators Defeat LSU 73-64

The Florida Gators (16-8, 7-4) knocked off LSU 73-64 on Wednesday night in Gainesville.

LSU led the game 33-31 at halftime but played much better in the second half, shooting 57% and nailing four three-pointers.  Jalen Hudson was the difference in the game, scoring 18 points while grabbing nine rebounds in an effort that left coach's praising his energy.  Keith Stone added 15 points for the Gators.

Florida scored 12 of the game's final 15 points to clinch the win, including a key three-point play from Hudson with 1:15 remaining.  They also took advantage of 16 LSU turnovers, scoring 21 points off the turover.

The Gators return to action on Sunday when they take on South Carolina on Sunday.  Tipoff is set for 12 PM on Saturday and can be heard at 11:25 AM throughout Tampa Bay on AM 1250 WHNZ.
