Florida's hurricane season is just two weeks away, and to prepare, the governor's annual hurricane conference is taking place in West Palm Beach today.
The 1,000 emergency managers from around the state are together and discussing everything from debris removal to getting a faster financial response from the federal government.
As many as 18 named storms are expected this upcoming season, with seven possibly becoming hurricanes.
