Game 1 of the Monday Night Football didn't disappoint any fans in terms of excitement. The battle between 1st Ballot Hall of Famer Drew Bress amd Emerging superstar Deshaun Watson was worth all the offseason hype and kept it up until the game clock struck zero. Drew Brees finished the game with 32/43 370 yards and 2 TDs with one interception. Watson finsihed 20/30 268 yards passing 3 Tds and 1 interception along with 40 yards on the ground and one TD.
Deshawn Watson led what looked like a game winning drive with fantastical throws to DeAndre Hopkins and Former Dolphin Kenny Still, but left Drew Brees with 37 seconds left. Drew led the squad with 2 quick passes a timeout and a 58 Game winning kick off the foot of Will Lutz.
